In an innovative and immersive approach to storytelling, the thriller theatre production "Killer Signs" takes audiences on a gripping exploration of 1970s London.
Through the eyes of a detective grappling with Dissociative Identity Disorder, the narrative delves into a series of haunting murders in the city.
This stage play, the first installment of a four-part project, aims to transcend traditional boundaries. Plans are underway to expand the story into a musical EP, an audio play, and even a short film. Collaborating with industry talents like unanimous decision, Black Falcon, Matt Finish, and the esteemed producer behind 90s rap icons eveready, "Killer Signs" has the potential to expand in a manner similar to that of 'Hamilton'.
Speaking exclusively to Media Muck, producer Darren Cudjoe shared insights into the project's genesis. Conceived during his final year at University, Cudjoe took the leap three years ago to bring this vision to life. Impressively, the entire venture was self-funded, reflecting Cudjoe's unwavering dedication to his artistic vision.
For Cudjoe, "Killer Signs" marks yet another milestone in a career brimming with creative accomplishments. With a background in attending a Performing Arts school and a history producing music in the 80s, the transition to theatre production felt like a natural progression for him.
